What you will do
- Design and develop high-performance software for semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and validation workflows.
- Architect firmware, device drivers, and low-level software for advanced silicon platforms.
- Build scalable automation frameworks for EDA tools, build systems, and compute environments.
- Develop post-silicon validation, debugging, characterization, and data analysis tools.
- Optimize reliability, performance, and scalability across embedded, multicore, and distributed systems.
- Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, document designs, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with hardware, ASIC, FPGA, verification, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant work in semiconductor or embedded systems environments.
- Expert-level programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Extensive experience with EDA tools, ASIC/SoC verification, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon validation.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, embedded systems, debugging, performance optimization, Linux, scripting, automation frameworks, and HPC or cloud-based compute infrastructure.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, modern software development practices, and technical leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Knowledge of cloud-native EDA workflows, distributed computing, and AI/ML applications in semiconductor design.
- Experience with FPGA development, embedded Linux, or real-time operating systems.
- Previous experience leading engineering teams or driving large-scale technical initiatives.
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in a related technical discipline.
