Utilities Maintenance Technician - Level 4 Days C-Shift (Thu, Fri, Sat, alternating Wed) (EV & Energy Storage)

Location: Onsite in De Soto, Kansas, United States. Day C-Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Wednesday. Applicants must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, HVAC, and process utility systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and production-support equipment with limited supervision.
• Respond to utility outages and routine equipment faults involving compressed air, vacuum, nitrogen, process water, HVAC, cooling water, and dust collection systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders; use diagnostic instruments to measure and validate system performance.
• Maintain equipment logs, work orders, labor records, and maintenance history in CMMS while supporting root-cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Production, and other teams, provide guidance to Level 3 technicians, and escalate complex incidents.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of experience in industrial maintenance or facilities operations.
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, HVAC, and industrial utility systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, use diagnostic instruments, and operate CMMS for work orders and maintenance records.
• Working-level English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Trade school or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.
• PIT, MEWP, driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, NFPA70E, OSHA 10/30, or HAZWOPER certification.
• Six or more years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or battery manufacturing.
• Experience with Building Management Systems and advanced OSHA, NFPA, and industrial safety practices.
