Facilities Operations Tech - Level 3 (EV Battery Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in De Soto, Kansas, United States. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

hirify.global is expanding a lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility supporting sustainable energy and electric vehicle production.

What you will do

• Perform routine rounds and monitor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, compressed-air, water, and utility systems.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, repairs, diagnostics, and utility restoration under close supervision.
• Respond to operational issues, escalate problems, and support timely resolution with senior technicians.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and documentation in CMMS.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams while communicating system status clearly.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience.
• At least two years of facilities, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or industrial utility systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment and interpret diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
• Working-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking is required.
• U.S. work authorization without restriction is required. Ability to work all scheduled shifts and respond to urgent site needs is also required.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of facilities experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably automotive or battery manufacturing.
• Trade school or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or a related field.
• OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, HAZWOPER, NFPA70E, or other relevant safety and technical certifications.
• CMMS experience and exposure to troubleshooting industrial systems or working with contractors and vendors.
