Installation Technician (Commercial Refrigeration)

What you will do

• Assist with installing refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.
• Install cabling, communication loops, energy management components, refrigerant leak systems, PVC drains, blower coils, orifices, and thermostatic expansion valves.
• Solder copper pipe, fabricate supports, identify fittings, configure complex coolers, and locate refrigeration and water leaks.
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, control drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and regulations.
• Complete assigned projects on time, maintain customer satisfaction, and prepare accurate documentation for invoicing.
• Manage truck inventory and vehicle maintenance requirements while handling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or ten years of related experience and training; a technical degree is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience with a high school diploma/GED, or no experience required with a technical degree.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and customer focus.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, lift up to 50 pounds, and work nights, weekends, and out of town as required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while making decisions and learning quickly.

Nice to have

• EPA 608 Certification.
• Technical degree.
