Service Engineer - S2 (Food Processing)

Location: Denton, Texas, United States; work at various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.; 85% international and domestic travel

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and restore hirify.global food packaging and processing equipment in customer production environments.
• Install and commission complete hirify.global systems, rebuilding kits, and upgrade kits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, control-system, and equipment faults onsite and remotely.
• Report technical issues, service activities, business opportunities, and completed work accurately and on time.
• Train customer operators on automated industrial food processing equipment and maintain issue-resolution records.
• Follow personnel safety, food safety, quality assurance, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial systems, automation, process, mechanical, or electronic engineering technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, an associate degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with low- and high-voltage electrical equipment from 24 to 600 volts, including power supplies, motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Experience with Allen Bradley or similar industrial automation platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting and rebuilding mechanical systems, including seals, bearings, bushings, chains, belts, cams, tie rods, pneumatic cylinders, pumps, and valves.
• Experience delivering operator training and reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
