Solutions Architect, Enterprise IT (AI)

Location: Remote; Chicago, IL

Salary: $150K–$180K per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Design customer-specific solutions covering network access, bandwidth, device management, security, and compliance.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success on large enterprise deals and resolve technical blockers.
• Lead security reviews, IT questionnaires, compliance discussions, and architecture approvals.
• Create customer-facing solution documents, architecture diagrams, reference architectures, and reusable solution patterns.
• Coordinate with Deployment, Product, and Engineering teams to support implementation and translate customer needs into product requirements.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or enterprise IT and network engineering.
• Deep expertise in corporate IT networking and systems, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Linux internals, and edge or IoT architectures.
• Experience leading technical discussions with senior enterprise IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Ability to gather enterprise requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements for Engineering.
• Strong experience creating customer-facing technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams.
• Familiarity with security reviews, IT questionnaires, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related compliance processes.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with 802.1X, certificate management or PKI, and enterprise device management.
• Experience with large multi-site environments such as warehouses, distribution centers, or retail locations.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
