Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, implement, secure, and maintain scalable, highly available Azure infrastructure and enterprise networking.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Deploy and manage production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and containerized workloads.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, and automate provisioning and operations with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Implement Azure identity, security, governance, monitoring, reliability, performance, and cost optimization practices.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives while mentoring engineers and conducting architecture reviews.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States.
• 10+ years of IT and cloud engineering experience, including 5+ years designing and managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep expertise in Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and PaaS services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates; AKS; and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, together with strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced Microsoft Azure certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Hybrid cloud or multi-cloud experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
• FinOps, cloud governance, cost optimization, and cloud security framework knowledge.
• Experience with Istio or Linkerd, GitOps, container security, DevSecOps, or regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
