DevOps Architect (Azure)

Location: Remote - US

Base salary: $125,200–$187,800 USD annually, plus potential annual discretionary/utilization bonus.

What you will do

• Craft and deliver cloud solutions for clients as part of a technical consulting team.
• Participate in technical envisioning, solution design, and project delivery.
• Implement designed solutions as client deliverables.
• Lead consultants in designing and deploying client workloads into Azure.
• Provide technical expertise in datacenter transformation, Azure infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and/or software development and IT operations.
• 3+ years of project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Azure DevOps, including VSTS/TFS, Boards, Git administration, build and release pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience with various cloud deployment methodologies.
• Automation experience with very good scripting knowledge in one or more of PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Groovy; experience may come from any public cloud.
• 1+ year implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies, or demonstrated experience with AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of the cloud ecosystem and emerging cloud technologies.
• Experience with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
• Microsoft Certification.
