DevOps Azure Tech Lead

Location: Remote in Ukraine

What you will do

• Own technical delivery activities while managing scope, priorities, risks, and timelines.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient Azure infrastructure, automation solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, product stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into backlogs, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Establish engineering standards, delivery processes, and operational best practices across projects and teams.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, project health checks, technical risk assessments, architecture improvements, and engineer mentoring.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and enterprise-scale cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, including complex deployment pipelines, package management, and database migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service or vanilla Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Windows or Linux administration and 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, IIS, and Active Directory environments.
• Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or Shell.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Zabbix, plus experience managing SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery, managing risks, defining engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English for client-facing discussions, technical workshops, and project documentation.
