SAP Business Technology Platform Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate extensions and side-by-side applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Develop integration scenarios for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications while following clean-core principles.
• Build applications with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model using Node.js and/or Java.
• Develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 user interfaces and design and consume OData v2/v4 services.
• Use BTP runtimes and services across application development, integration, data, analytics, and AI.
• Apply multi-tenant SaaS design practices and CI/CD tooling for BTP solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP development experience, including significant hands-on SAP BTP work.
• Strong experience with SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, BTP runtimes, and BTP services.
• Working knowledge of XSUAA, SAP IAS, SAP IPS, and CI/CD patterns and tooling.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA extension patterns and clean-core principles.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• SAP-certified BTP developer credentials.
• Experience with SAP Build, Workflow, Business Rules, or Document Management Service.
• Exposure to SAP AI Core and hyperscaler AI service integrations.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite/CPI and multi-tenant SaaS applications on BTP.
