Guidewire Application Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop hands-on solutions in Gosu, including product model and rule configuration.
• Design and build messaging, batch, and plugin integrations.
• Deliver Guidewire Cloud features and support platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, business analysts, SMEs, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Contribute through code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience; the position lists six or more years of overall experience.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming and the Guidewire data model.
• Hands-on customization experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Strong product model, rule design, SQL, database schema, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, or H-1B transfer candidates may apply; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Guidewire ACE certifications.
• Guidewire Cloud upgrade experience.
• Guidewire Digital portals or DataHub/InfoCenter experience.
• Insurance expertise across property and casualty lines.
• Experience with reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.
