What you will do
- Build and execute real-world evidence analyses using large-scale claims and EHR data.
- Write scalable SQL and Python code to define cohorts, model patient journeys, and produce reproducible research outputs.
- Evaluate treatment patterns, healthcare utilization, and outcomes while accounting for bias and data limitations.
- Review and challenge analytical outputs from AI research agents and improve how they translate research questions into analyses.
- Work with clinicians, researchers, life sciences organizations, and customer institutions to scope questions, deliver evidence, and support platform adoption.
- Communicate assumptions, limitations, and technical findings clearly to scientific stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
- PhD, or a Master’s degree plus 5+ years of industry experience, in biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical trials, public health, health informatics, health economics, or a related quantitative-health field.
- Strong grounding in real-world data and real-world evidence methodology.
- Proven ability to answer complex clinical or biopharma questions using SQL, Python, and R and/or SAS.
- Experience with large healthcare datasets such as claims or EHR data, including clinical coding systems such as ICD, CPT, or RxNorm.
- Track record of producing rigorous, research-grade analyses, reports, or publications and working with messy, high-dimensional data.
- Hands-on AI/ML experience is required, including reviewing code and reasoning about model outputs.

- Experience working directly with customers and in a sales capacity.
- Industry experience, particularly in preference to consulting.
