What you will do

• Manage descriptive epidemiologic studies on disease incidence and prevalence across the US, EU, Asia, and emerging markets.
• Plan and manage research using medical claims, electronic health records, registries, and prospective observational cohorts.
• Provide safety research support, contribute to risk management plans, and implement pharmacovigilance studies.
• Conduct literature reviews and prepare research reports, scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and internal publications.
• Communicate observational research methods and scientific findings to multidisciplinary audiences.
• Track developments in observational research and drug development and translate real-world evidence into clinical impact.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree; or a master's degree with 2 years of scientific experience; or a bachelor's degree with 4 years of scientific experience; or an associate's degree with 8 years of scientific experience; or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of scientific experience.
• Experience designing, executing, and analyzing observational research studies in pharmaceutical or public health settings.
• Experience in cardiovascular disease and research supporting drug development.
• Experience with secondary data systems, including administrative claims, EMR, and registries.
• Strong study design, applied biostatistics, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and translating real-world evidence for clinical impact.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in epidemiology or a subject with substantial observational research content.
• Experience planning and managing observational research projects.
• Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated approach with strong judgment.
