Instructional Designer

Location: Remote, United States only. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead client discovery and strategy sessions, applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Design learning experiences, formats, and structures based on content, audience needs, learner feedback, and assessment data.
• Own end-to-end development of learning modules, courses, and programs, including storyboards, scripts, prototypes, assessments, production, QA, and deployment.
• Publish, test, troubleshoot, maintain, package, and version learning content across LMS/LXP platforms and SCORM workflows.
• Manage concurrent project workloads, timelines, scope risks, stakeholder feedback, and revision decisions.
• Contribute samples, reusable templates, style guides, production documentation, and instructional expertise to proposals and team standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of instructional design or learning content development experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating ownership of eLearning or blended learning projects from design through delivery.
• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise, LMS/LXP platforms, video recording and editing tools, and SCORM standards.
• Experience designing across eLearning, video, instructor-led training, and job aid modalities.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, written communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-support skills.

Nice to have

• Association or nonprofit sector experience.
• Salesforce experience.
• Experience using AI tools, tracking team metrics, and applying accessibility standards and inclusive learning design.
