Instructional Designer (Clinical Research)

Location: Remote in Costa Rica (Hybrid - requires regular in-office participation)

What you will do

• Assess learning needs and recommend instructional design solutions for global clinical trial programs.
• Design and develop customer-facing training assets, including eLearning modules, ILT presentations, and job aids.
• Manage all phases of the training lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with SMEs from Product Management and Customer Care to ensure training accuracy.
• Monitor training effectiveness and optimize internal team workflows and best practices.
• Support hybrid collaboration through a mix of remote engagement and in-office presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or certification in Learning and Development, Education, or Business.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate training, L&D, or instructional design.
• Expertise in Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Must be based in Costa Rica to support required in-office participation.
• Strong proficiency in curriculum design, project management, and technical content development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or clinical research industry.
• Experience creating video-based learning, animations, or multimedia training assets.
• Portfolio demonstrating instructional design capabilities and content development.
