Curriculum/Instructional Designer (STEM)

Location: Remote from home or off-site, within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts; U.S. citizens only.

What you will do

• Synthesize complex scientific and technical information into clear content and documentation for broad audiences.
• Build components for e-learning courses and proofread and edit instructional content.
• Review training materials and documentation to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop training solutions and support training strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate user-facing learning events, including monthly Lunch-n-Learn sessions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States are required; Green Cards and visas do not qualify.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; a comprehensive background investigation is required.
• Must be located within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• At least one year of experience with R&D/STEM content, instructional design, training strategy, and content validation.
• Experience with writing and editing, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, web content tools, and content management systems.

• Experience delivering training content to stakeholders or users.
