Windchill Middleware Developer (Windchill)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP platforms including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Architect CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and other engineering design systems.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs, SOAP web services, Info*Engine tasks, OData services, and Java-based integration components.
• Build event-driven integration solutions using middleware platforms, Kafka, JMS, message queues, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support high availability, upgrades, migrations, API versioning, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with PLM, ERP, Manufacturing, Engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders; lead design reviews, document solutions, and mentor developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in PLM integration and enterprise application development, including extensive PTC Windchill experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise in Windchill Info*Engine, Windchill Java API, REST/SOAP web services, OData, XML, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience integrating Windchill with SAP, Oracle ERP, or comparable enterprise business applications, plus strong knowledge of CAD integration and engineering data exchange.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise middleware such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud, SAP Cloud Integration, Apache Camel, or similar technologies.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• PTC Windchill certification or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with ThingWorx, Industrial IoT, Digital Thread, or Smart Manufacturing integrations.
• Experience with API management platforms, cloud-native integration services, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerized services.
• Experience supporting aerospace, automotive, medical device, industrial manufacturing, or defense industries.
