TL;DR
Cloud Architect (AWS) – ODS (AWS/Data Lake): Designing, operating and evolving AWS cloud infrastructure supporting business-critical data platforms with an accent on scalability, security, reliability and operational excellence. Focus on infrastructure as code, production monitoring, incident resolution, automation and evolving cloud-based Data Lake environments.
Location: Madrid, or remotely within Spain

What you will do
- Design, implement, maintain and evolve AWS infrastructure supporting the ODS Data Lake and business-critical workloads.
- Define architecture patterns and standards for scalability, security, reliability and cost optimization.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM and CloudWatch.
- Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, improve reliability and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Operations and Product teams on data pipelines, production operations and platform improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering or platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing and operating AWS solutions in production.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, observability, production incident management, security, networking and operational best practices.
- Experience supporting Data Lakes and cloud-based data platforms.
- Professional English required.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, ownership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking, fintech or regulated environments and with large-scale data or analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Kinesis and networking services.
- Python automation, AWS CDK, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Fluent Spanish.
