Salesforce Technical Architect (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; full-time hybrid

What you will do

• Own and approve technical designs for Salesforce implementations and integrations with enterprise systems such as ERPs, marketing automation platforms, and data warehouses.
• Define, document, and enforce architecture standards, coding standards, reference patterns, and HLD/LLD documentation for Salesforce and connected platforms.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions based on cost, maintainability, time-to-value, and architectural fit.
• Design, build, maintain, monitor, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components, spending at least 50% of the time on hands-on development.
• Oversee deployment strategies, environment management, and DevOps CI/CD processes while improving platform performance and reliability.
• Mentor Salesforce developers, conduct code reviews, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and evaluate AI-assisted development and integration architecture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience with Apex, LWC, and SOQL.
• Experience architecting complex, secure enterprise systems and producing scalable technical designs, HLDs, LLDs, cost analysis, and impact analysis.
• Strong knowledge of system integration patterns, API design, data modeling, migration planning, and data quality management.
• Willingness to remain hands-on while owning technical architecture and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Experience mentoring developers through code reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Fluent English and executive-level communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Integration Architect, or System Architect certification.
• Experience defining architecture standards across data warehouses or other enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing.
