ServiceNow Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications.
• Configure workflows and Flow Designer processes while extending the platform through scripting and custom development.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Customize the user interface, including Service Portal widgets, and implement platform extensions.
• Apply clean, upgrade-safe, and performant ServiceNow development practices.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and deliver maintainable production solutions.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including ES5 and ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
• Expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, MID Servers, the ServiceNow data model, CMDB concepts, and Service Portal widget development; CSA certification required.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• Certified Implementation Specialist credentials in ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM.
• Experience with Now Assist, GenAI Controller, App Engine Studio, or multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
