Senior ServiceNow Developer (Public Trust) - Remote MD DC VA

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC, will be required to report onsite daily to a federal agency office in the DC area in the near future. US citizenship and US residency are required.

Salary: $108,006–$183,610 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support scalable enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, FSM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Mobile Agent.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer workflows, Service Catalog items, CMDB models, portals, and mobile experiences.
• Implement REST and SOAP integrations and translate complex business and technical requirements into reliable platform solutions.
• Support releases, testing, upgrades, and upgrade-safe platform development.
• Enforce platform governance and quality standards through code reviews and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other developers.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• US citizenship and residence in the United States are required.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in CSM or ITSM with deployed Custom Application Development.
• Strong JavaScript, ServiceNow development, ITIL, and Agile skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience with scripting beyond basic ServiceNow scripts and Agile Scrum.
• Active FCC or GSA government clearance.
• ServiceNow certifications, including CSA, CAD, or relevant implementation specialist certifications.
• Strong integration development skills and in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules and best practices.
