Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: Hybrid in Tysons, Virginia, United States

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain custom scoped applications and migrate legacy applications to the DLA Enterprise ServiceNow platform.
• Use ServiceNow modules and features including CSM, S2P, APO, Integration Hub, Flows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Asset Management, CMDB, and AI Agents.
• Translate business and functional requirements into sustainable platform implementations, design decisions, and migration steps.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts and ServiceNow teams to define data requirements and solution designs.
• Support operational transition, sustainment governance, go-live activities, and resolution of post-production deficiencies.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of ServiceNow experience.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow design patterns, best practices, architecture, data models, core concepts, and ACLs.
• Experience with the full SDLC, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and production promotion.
• Proficiency in business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Flow Designer, notifications, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XM.
