Engineer II (Automation)

Location: Teparuk, Thailand; onsite at the factory

Company

hirify.global operates a Teparuk manufacturing site producing nano-recording heads for hard disk drives.

What you will do

• Maintain automation equipment, support daily production, deliver new machines, and improve productivity.
• Plan spare parts and inventory, monitor usage, maintain accurate records, and manage safety stock.
• Develop visual dashboards for equipment performance and quality management.
• Analyze equipment downtime and establish preventive maintenance to improve efficiency.
• Co-develop and deploy new technology with counterparts and design teams, including equipment maturity assessment.
• Guide technicians on technical records, workflows, applications, troubleshooting, feedback, and quality improvement coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
• Experience in engineering; maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic automation and engineering drawings.
• Fluent English communication in both spoken and written forms.
• Strong communication, presentation, teamwork, task follow-up, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Computer literacy; programming knowledge in C#, Python, or SQL is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and application experience in AI.
• Experience in new product planning and new technology development.
