Specialist, Program Finance (Defense Tech)

Location: On-site in Greenville, Texas or Waco, Texas; U.S. citizenship is required for security-clearance eligibility.

Develops end-to-end defense technology solutions connecting space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains for national security missions.

What you will do

• Partner with program managers and functional teams to establish and maintain financial plans for defense programs.
• Prepare contract budgets, funding profiles, sales outlooks, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Analyze cost and schedule performance and provide weekly and monthly indicators of program health.
• Monitor adherence to approved budgets and negotiated contract parameters, focusing on Orders, Revenue, Profit, and Cash Flow.
• Own program finance deliverables, including EVMS, CDRLs, ERP system management, forecasting, and process improvement.
• Support audits and train, oversee, and develop program finance, PMO, and functional staff on earned value practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience; alternatively, 10 years of related experience without a degree.
• Previous program controls experience.
• Prior Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• EVMS certification.
• Experience creating financial forecasts and using financial ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion, or SAP.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience building collaborative relationships and supporting inclusive team environments.
