Program Controls Analyst IV (Defense Financial Analytics)

Location: NJ Remote; US Citizenship required

What you will do

• Conduct financial analysis, profitability analysis, forecasting, and monthly revenue reviews for defense programs.
• Maintain budget-versus-actual reporting, forecasts, cost baselines, and program Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) management.
• Monitor labor, material, subcontract, and other direct costs, identifying variances, risks, opportunities, and potential overruns.
• Develop Production WIP Accounting and Inventory Accounting reports and provide financial inputs for customer deliverables.
• Coordinate forecasts, reporting, and funding requirements with subcontractors, contracts, accounting, procurement, and program management teams.
• Review contract awards and modifications, resolve AR/AP issues, and ensure compliance with accounting principles, government regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of project controls experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.
• Experience with WIP Accounting, Production Inventory Accounting, Production Finance, and government contract financials.
• Experience in the defense industry and with contract types including CPFF, T&M, and FFP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate on complex problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Deltek Costpoint Accounting System.
• Financial modeling, substantiated basis of estimates, annual rate adjustments, and contract closeouts.
• Experience supporting multiple programs and coordinating subcontractor funding.
