Program Financial Analyst II (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; office or hybrid environment

What you will do

• Manage complex project data for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, schedules, cost proposals, and contract forecasts.
• Perform what-if cost analysis, cost variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Monitor outstanding contract work and maintain accurate cost and schedule baselines.
• Develop financial models and reports, and present results to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, policy compliance, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related field; 6 years may substitute for a degree.
• Clear communication skills for program and financial information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Advanced proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of government contracting, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
