TL;DR
Program Financial Analyst II (Aerospace & Defense): Managing complex project financial data, budgets, schedules, cost proposals, and forecasts for next-generation airborne command-and-control aircraft with an accent on contract management, cost control, and financial reporting. Focus on developing financial models, performing what-if and variance analysis, maintaining cost and schedule baselines, and supporting compliance with government contracting requirements.

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; office or hybrid work environment with occasional travel for training or meetings. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

What you will do

  • Manage complex project data for internal and external reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, schedules, cost proposals, forecasts, and cost variance reports.
  • Perform detailed what-if cost analyses and monitor outstanding work against contract baselines.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models and management reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare financial presentations and support compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related field; 6 years is required in place of a degree.
  • Clear communication skills for program and financial information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of government contracting, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
