Senior Workday Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design advanced, composite, matrix, and custom Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and report-as-a-service integrations.
• Configure HCM and Finance business processes, condition rules, approval routing, and role-based, domain-based, and segment-based security.
• Develop Workday Extend applications and PRISM Analytics solutions using supported platform extensions.
• Partner with HR, payroll, finance, product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into maintainable configurations.
• Support tenant refreshes, regression testing, release adoption, production troubleshooting, and root-cause remediation.
• Document configuration and security models, review designs, share Workday best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday technical experience; the position listing also specifies 8+ years of experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday Report Writer, including advanced and composite reports, and strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance.
• Hands-on experience with business processes, condition rules, Workday security, tenant management, and release processes.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend, plus strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

• Workday Pro certifications.
