HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Regular in-office role for candidates residing in Austin, Texas, or surrounding areas, working from the downtown Austin headquarters.

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders and leadership teams in Engineering and Product to develop talent strategies supporting rapid growth.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, and skills development.
• Own the implementation of career architecture, job leveling frameworks, promotion criteria, and compensation messaging.
• Create and analyze workforce metrics related to retention, employee experience, performance, and employee trends.
• Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, mitigate risks, and provide fair and equitable guidance.
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to improve HR workflows, analyze workforce data, and enhance employee experience.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of HRBP experience in a technology company, primarily in software; SaaS experience is preferred.
• Experience directly supporting Engineering and/or Product leaders as an embedded HRBP.
• Direct ownership of compensation and leveling, including career architecture, job leveling frameworks, or compensation bands.
• Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing organizations, with strong coaching, influencing, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Broad HR knowledge covering employee relations, learning, performance management, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Existing authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting shift-based teams.
• Familiarity with international compensation complexity, particularly in Mexico and/or Brazil.
• Bachelor’s degree.
