People Partner

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA or the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. government authorizations is required under ITAR regulations. Relocation support may be provided in certain situations based on business need.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year, with equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise leaders on people strategies aligned with business goals and coach EPD leadership and managers.
• Manage employee-relations issues and investigations with sound judgment, discretion, and legal partnership.
• Support performance management, feedback, employee development, talent, and compensation cycles.
• Equip managers to lead engineering, skilled-trade, operational, exempt, and non-exempt teams.
• Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and critical-role risk identification.
• Support reorganizations, leadership changes, policy rollouts, and scalable people programs across sites, shifts, and job types.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employees, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or high-compliance environments.
• Knowledge of employee relations, organizational design, change management, workforce planning, talent strategy, and compensation processes.
• Strong judgment, risk awareness, documentation discipline, and ability to handle sensitive conversations.
• Clear communication skills for both desk-based employees and hourly shop-floor teams.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements and work on-site in Los Angeles or the San Francisco Bay Area.

• Strong organizational skills for triaging high-volume requests in a dynamic environment.
