Associate, Corporate Strategy Analyst

Location: San Jose, California; must be willing to relocate. Flexibility for remote work is available within established company policies. Travel: 10–20%, including domestic and international travel.

Salary: $151,700–$202,200 per year.

What you will do

• Own strategic projects across the core data storage business and New Ventures.
• Lead market sizing, competitive landscaping, customer and segment analysis, go-to-market frameworks, and build-buy-partner assessments.
• Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, customers, partners, competitors, technologies, and peers.
• Build market-sizing, scenario-analysis, business-case, and go-to-market economic models.
• Create executive-quality presentations, one-pagers, briefing notes, and read-outs for C-suite and Board audiences.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, and finance stakeholders to align priorities and drive recommendations through decisions.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a research-intensive analytical role.
• Experience independently leading complex strategic projects from problem structuring through final recommendation.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including modeling, scenario analysis, and business-case development.
• Experience with primary research, secondary research, competitive analysis, and executive-level deliverables.
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; a bachelor's degree in an analytical field is required, while an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in deep technology, data storage, semiconductors, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with PitchBook, Bloomberg, Gartner, or similar market research and competitive intelligence tools.
• Experience supporting commercial, go-to-market, or sales organizations.
• Data visualization experience.
