Customer Support Specialist (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Anaheim, California, United States; onsite

Salary: USD 70,304–85,000 per year, plus a Project House Plan commission/bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage moderate-complexity customer projects, including order placement, shipment tracking, billing and delivery scheduling.
• Communicate with customers, sales teams and vendors to resolve issues, coordinate pricing, claims, returns and account requirements.
• Review purchase orders and ensure that requirements, terms and conditions are accurate.
• Expedite backorders and over, short and damaged orders to improve fill rates and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations, requotes and proposals while identifying pricing advantages, vendor options and product substitutions.
• Coordinate project documentation, including O&M manuals, test reports, submittal packages and certificates of compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in quotation, project management or customer service.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to multitask in a demanding, time-sensitive environment.
• Analytical problem-solving ability, strong organization and time management skills.
