Senior Software Engineer IV (Python)

Location: Krakow, Poland; remote work available

Salary: 22,595–25,254 PLN gross/month on an employment contract, or 181–202 PLN net/hour on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Design and deliver high-performance, distributed, and low-latency systems.
• Architect and implement new platform features and functionality.
• Own projects end-to-end while shaping requirements with Product.
• Improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes.
• Collaborate with distributed Engineering and Product teams.
• Analyze existing solutions, remove unnecessary complexity, and address long-term technical challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building SaaS applications with Python.
• Experience with database system design, relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and deep knowledge of cloud architecture and cost considerations.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and SQL, including BigQuery.
• Communicative Polish and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
• Experience with Airflow and Cloud Composer.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and modifying DAGs for data-pipeline orchestration and automation.
• Experience in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology.
