What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable software applications and cloud infrastructure components.
• Build production-quality Python code for complex engineering and data management challenges.
• Develop AWS solutions using services such as IAM, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and SNS.
• Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Analyze performance, scalability, and reliability challenges and recommend architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and technical stakeholders while conducting code reviews and providing mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including distributed systems and data management.
• Expert-level Python skills with strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and code optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and SNS.
• Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar tools, plus proficiency in TypeScript, Java, or another strongly typed language.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses, partitioning, storage trade-offs, and scalable application architecture; a bachelor's degree or 17 years of relevant experience.
