Director, Strategic Finance (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid, based in the San Francisco (Presidio) headquarters or Bellevue, Washington office, with attendance required several days per week.

Salary: $199,824–$249,780 USD base salary annually, plus equity and subsidized benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to translate company strategy into financial objectives, measurable outcomes, and resource allocation plans.
• Build scalable financial models, planning processes, forecasting frameworks, and budgeting systems across business units.
• Prepare financial narratives, presentations, scenario analyses, and business cases for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Evaluate product investments, pricing frameworks, revenue strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, R&D, Product, and go-to-market teams to align financial assumptions with execution.
• Define meaningful KPIs, improve governance, and coach finance professionals as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, startups, or related finance functions.
• Experience in early-stage and/or growth-stage startups is required.
• Strong expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, business planning, financial modeling, and data analytics.
• Ability to partner with business leaders, influence company-wide strategy, and manage ambiguity with limited structure.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, BI tools, and/or FP&A platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience in SaaS, hardware, or technology.
