Senior Data Submissions Operations Associate (Healthcare Data)

Salary: $55,000–$90,000 per year

Healthcare company building an integrated care platform for older Americans that combines data, AI, clinical services, and member support.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end submission of audit files through the CMS portal, including validation, coversheets, and final uploads.
• Coordinate submission-related work, priorities, timelines, and quality standards across assigned contributors and internal management.
• Perform quality assurance checks against CMS requirements, including naming conventions, file sizes, dates, provider credentials, and document legibility.
• Monitor and triage submission feedback, route issues to coding, file preparation, compliance, and audit teams, and maintain resolution logs.
• Partner with Tech and IT Submission teams to troubleshoot system issues, improve processes, and manage secure file transfers.
• Prepare RADV operations metrics, error trends, resolution summaries, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with healthcare data submissions, medical record management, or health information operations.
• Experience in Medicare Advantage, risk adjustment, or healthcare audit environments is relevant.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform quality assurance under time-sensitive, high-volume conditions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical submission errors and collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organization and communication skills, including coordinating distributed or offshore resources without direct managerial authority.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Proficiency with SQL, Looker, or other BI and database query tools.
• Experience with CMS systems such as CDAT or EDPS, healthcare submission portals, ICD-10 coding, or risk adjustment data.
