Data Analyst, Clinical Data Effectiveness (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end analysis of clinical data completeness, reliability, latency, and effectiveness across facilities, markets, vendors, and integration pathways.
• Identify facilities producing high-quality clinical documents and quantify gaps across EHRs, discharge summaries, procedure notes, claims, CCDAs, and ADT messages.
• Maintain reporting on ADT coverage by county, facility, organization, and underlying EMR system.
• Evaluate vendor configurations and conduct proof-of-concepts for data exchange technologies such as Kno2, Particle Health, Bamboo Health, PCC, Experian, and HSX.
• Develop a framework for prioritizing direct facility data acquisition based on impact, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Clinical teams to define requirements, implement reliable pipelines, validate data quality, and remove operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on data analytics experience with direct exposure to healthcare data interoperability.
• Strong experience with HL7, CCDA, and ADT healthcare data standards.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex claims, clinical, and interoperability datasets.
• Experience analyzing interoperability networks such as Carequality, CommonWell, or eHealthExchange, or working with HIE integrations.
• Ability to visualize data and present complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong investigative, self-directed, and project-management skills for analyzing missing data, diverging metrics, vendor comparisons, and visit-level reconciliation.

Nice to have

• Experience with TEFCA/QHIN frameworks and national interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with Bamboo Health, HSX, Particle Health, or Kno2.
• Background in value-based care, population health, or clinical data operations.
• Experience reconciling claims with clinical encounter records, including matching EOBs to encounters.
• Comfort using Python or similar tools for data manipulation and automation.
