Trade Finance Origination Associate

What you will do

• Originate and support trade finance and working capital transactions for US borrowers.
• Market receivables, supply chain finance, structured trade, letters of credit, EAF, and related products to clients in the natural resources, utilities, and commodities sectors.
• Prepare commercial plans, pitches, and RFIs for C-suite client engagement.
• Analyze client financial strategies, reports, peer performance, pricing, and transaction profitability.
• Manage the client journey from sales through implementation and serve as an escalation point.
• Coordinate CDD, Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT, Operations, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders for end-to-end execution.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• 6+ years of relevant experience and experience working with sub-investment-grade clients in the American market.
• Strong financial knowledge, including working capital cycles, cash flow forecasting, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling.
• Understanding of trade product mechanics, drivers, risks, competitive markets, technology in trade finance, and front-to-back execution.
• Strong business origination, presentation, organizational, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience in the natural resources, utilities, or commodities sectors.

• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
