International Ops Analyst 2 (Trade Finance)

What you will do

• Process Standby Letters of Credit, including issuance, amendments, extensions, renewals, drawings, and cancellations.
• Review applications, transaction instructions, financial documents, legal agreements, and operational documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Partner with Credit, Commercial Banking, Legal, Risk, customers, relationship managers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor expiration dates, automatic renewals, drawing activity, and other critical transaction obligations.
• Identify discrepancies, exceptions, and potential risks, and coordinate their resolution.
• Support cross-training, special projects, and development of expertise in documentary credits, collections, SWIFT messaging, and supply chain finance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in loan operations, due diligence, document preparation, or document examination.
• Experience reviewing credit approvals, applications, commercial loan closing packages, collateral documentation, legal agreements, or other financial transaction documents.
• Must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to interpret financial, legal, and operational documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Standby Letters of Credit, Documentary Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, or Collections.
• Knowledge of Standby Letter of Credit workflows, SWIFT messaging, and international banking operations.
• Knowledge of ISP98, UCP 600, and ISBP.
• Certified Documentary Credit Specialist designation.
