Fund Operations Associate

Location: New York, NY; in-office required

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 base salary per year, plus performance-based bonus, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Process high volumes of wires, capital calls, and distributions across more than 150 funds.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, banks, and service providers to reconcile positions, confirm transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage bank reconciliations, fund cash flows, fees, expenses, carried interest accruals, and investor reporting data.
• Manage the line-of-credit lifecycle, including facility setup, documentation, advances, repayments, and balance reconciliation.
• Respond to operational inquiries from wealth advisors and investors, owning issues through resolution.
• Document core workflows and build repeatable processes that support increasing volume and complexity.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, alternative asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or a fund administrator.
• Working knowledge of private fund structures, capital call mechanics, distribution waterfalls, and investor reporting workflows.
• Strong reconciliation, data analysis, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across a portfolio of funds with precision and urgency.
• Strong problem-solving and client-service orientation, with ownership of issues from investigation through resolution.
• Ability to work in the New York office on-site.
