Fund Operations Associate

Location: New York, NY; in-office required

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus, stock options, and benefits

What you will do

• Manage high-volume wires, capital calls, distributions, and settlement activities across more than 150 funds.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, banks, and service providers to reconcile positions, transactions, cash flows, and discrepancies.
• Manage lines of credit, including facility openings, documentation, advances, repayments, and balance reconciliations.
• Track and reconcile management fees, fund expenses, carried interest accruals, and investor reporting data.
• Support wealth advisors and investors by resolving operational inquiries and following issues through to completion.
• Document procedures, build repeatable workflows, and identify operational improvements as fund volume grows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, alternative asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of private fund structures, capital calls, distribution waterfalls, and investor reporting workflows.
• Strong reconciliation skills and the ability to manage large datasets, multiple deadlines, and detail-intensive work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, administrators, custodians, banks, and investors.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, ownership, client service, process documentation, and workflow-building abilities.
• Active interest in applying AI to reduce repetitive work, surface insights, and improve workflows.
