Manager Software Engineering (Gen AI)

Location: Based out of the Chicago, Illinois; Peoria, Illinois; or Irving, Texas offices, United States. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $147,760–$240,110 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a Gen AI engineering team building intelligent agents, digital assistants, and AI-driven customer and dealer experiences.
• Provide technical direction and support to align engineering work with company goals.
• Manage resources and delivery schedules for complex AI and software projects.
• Oversee individual and team performance, including training and development needs.
• Establish and supervise engineering best practices and maintain product quality, reliability, and robustness.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of software development tools and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of software integration, including designing and maintaining interfaces between platforms and software packages.
• Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong organizational leadership, project management, communication, analytical, and team leadership skills.
• Extensive software engineering leadership experience with cloud and embedded platforms.
• Experience delivering Gen AI solutions and leading software engineering teams in agile, matrixed environments; typically 8+ years of program management leadership experience.
