TL;DR

Focus on developing outreach strategies, analyzing financial and quality trends, and managing team performance against contractual commitments.

Location: Remote Illinois; must reside in the state of Illinois. Occasional travel throughout Illinois and to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $115,200–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

  • Lead a team of provider engagement associates and establish operating policies and procedures.
  • Develop provider engagement strategies that improve adult and child quality measures, close care gaps, and support value-based payment arrangements.
  • Plan and execute provider outreach campaigns with Quality and other internal partners.
  • Monitor provider feedback, team KPIs, contractual commitments, and performance requirements.
  • Represent Illinois market leadership in strategic planning with corporate partners and expand provider participation in value-based payment arrangements.
  • Build positive provider relationships, support Medicaid network retention, and onboard and train new team members.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Illinois and be able to travel throughout the state as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least six years of progressive experience in managed care operations.
  • Experience with the Illinois Medicaid MCO contract, including value-based payment and quality improvement standards.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid policies, managed care contracts, reimbursement, and key provider types including pediatrics, OB/GYN, behavioral health, and LTSS.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare costs, administrative expenses, quality metrics, HEDIS results, and bonus performance.
  • At least two years of leadership and management experience, with strong relationship management and strategic collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Clinical degree such as RN, APRN, or PA.
  • Experience in healthcare administration or quality improvement.
  • Experience building teams in a fast-paced implementation environment.
