Associate Director, U.S. Field Medical Excellence

Location: Remote within the United States

Base compensation: $188,000–$222,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the U.S. Field Medical strategy in alignment with Global Medical Affairs and U.S. Medical Affairs priorities.
• Build capability development programs covering scientific exchange, stakeholder and KOL engagement, insight generation, strategic account planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and deliver onboarding, workshops, simulations, role plays, coaching tools, certification, and readiness programs for U.S. MSLs.
• Train field teams to collect actionable insights, translate field intelligence into recommendations, and communicate findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with U.S. Field Medical leadership on coaching, feedback frameworks, performance metrics, and best-practice sharing.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and competency progression through performance trends, surveys, coaching observations, assessments, and dashboards.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or another relevant scientific or healthcare degree.
• At least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience; MSL or MSL Manager experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing and delivering learning programs.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Medical Affairs and Field Medical operations, including Veeva CRM.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
