Cost Accountant I

What you will do

• Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and KPI analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and complete project closing.
• Support monthly forecasts, operations reporting, and the annual operating plan.
• Plan and assist with physical inventory, inventory flow, and daily and annual cost rolls.
• Complete payroll and labor reporting and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Analyze deviations, validate financial data, support process improvements, and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 0–2 years of experience for the Cost Accountant I level.
• Strong analytical skills, business judgment, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and operate in a matrix organization.
• Very little to no travel is required; onsite work in Suwanee is required.
