Staff Accountant

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: US$68,000–$74,000 or CA$95,000–$103,000 annually

What you will do

• Own full-cycle accounting from transaction entry through financial statement preparation.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including banks, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze variances, research discrepancies, and prepare documentation for audits.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure GAAP compliance, and improve accounting processes while collaborating with FP&A, Billing, and HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to full-cycle accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.

• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Ramp.
