Workday Application Developer (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure Workday across HCM and Finance, including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and security.
• Design advanced and composite reports using Workday Report Writer.
• Support integrations, tenant management, release processes, and Workday platform troubleshooting.
• Develop and support lightweight applications with Workday Extend and PRISM Analytics.
• Translate ambiguous requirements from product, design, engineering, operations, HR, finance, IT, and business stakeholders into maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday technical experience; the position listing specifies six or more years of experience.
• Advanced Workday Report Writer expertise, including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance, business process configuration, condition rules, and the Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend, plus familiarity with Workday tenant management and release processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certifications.
• Experience with Workday Extend application development and PRISM data ingestion and modeling.
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region Workday deployments.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials.
