What you will do

• Define and drive the enterprise data quality strategy, roadmap, and maturity growth program.
• Implement a federated data quality model with Data Stewards across business domains and corporate functions.
• Own data quality monitoring and incident management, including triage, escalation, root cause analysis, remediation, and communication.
• Oversee data quality dashboards, KPIs, thresholds, profiling, cleansing, and enrichment across structured and unstructured data.
• Establish data quality standards and govern the lifecycle of rules from design and approval through deployment and retirement.
• Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business Analysts, IT Delivery, Architecture, and technical teams to embed quality controls into data products and application releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, data science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data stewardship, data quality management, or data governance.
• Practical knowledge of data quality principles, tools, processes, applications, and enterprise business processes.
• Ability to translate enterprise objectives into multi-year strategies and prioritize initiatives by business value, risk, and feasibility.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder influence, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity and organizational change.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer-packaged goods.
• Working knowledge of data catalog applications, preferably data.world.
• Experience with profiling, rule authoring, monitoring, and data observability platforms.
• Knowledge of standardization, matching, deduplication, survivorship, and their integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization tools.
