Data Analysis Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with in-person work at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

Salary: $90,000–$168,750 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus and, for certain positions, long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team evaluating new and existing data assets for use across products and services.
• Oversee due diligence for alternative and traditional data sources, including coverage, quality validation, gap analysis, lift analysis, simulation testing, and business value assessment.
• Develop standardized, scalable methodologies for data profiling, onboarding, cataloging, governance, lineage, access controls, and lifecycle management.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for product strategy, business decisions, and revenue opportunities.
• Partner with Product, Data Acquisition, Solutions, Business, and Technology stakeholders to identify and prioritize data opportunities.
• Coach and develop team members while leading enterprise data quality and data strategy initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data strategy, product analytics, data acquisition, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing analytical or data-focused teams.
• Experience evaluating data assets, determining business value, and identifying or commercializing emerging datasets.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to executive and non-technical audiences and influence strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to query and analyze data with SQL and Python, use analytical and visualization tools, and work with enterprise data platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating alternative data assets and third-party data providers.
• Background in financial services, credit, fraud, identity, risk, or information services.
• Familiarity with Bitquery, OneTru, modern cloud data environments, or enterprise-scale data architectures.
• Experience with vendor-facing or customer-facing data strategy discussions and product management concepts.
• Experience leading enterprise data quality or governance improvement programs.
