Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Drive collaboration with suppliers, foundries, OSATs, and contract manufacturers to achieve high product and process quality compliant with hirify.global requirements and industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address quality and reliability issues, including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and issue containment.
• Analyze material holds, manufacturing deviations, and participate in Material Review Boards for timely product disposition.
• Conduct supplier gap analysis, audits, and benchmarking to verify quality systems and process controls.
• Coordinate change management, product qualifications, reliability monitors, defect/cost reduction with suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide leadership to meet supplier quality KPIs and maintain quality management system certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in semiconductor industry
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Understanding of semiconductor technology and manufacturing processes
• Experience with process control, Six Sigma tools, problem-solving (Fault Tree, 5 Whys, FMEA), failure analysis, and reliability
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, JEDEC, RoHS/REACH standards
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to influence external partners
