Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore; hybrid role with office attendance above Tai Seng MRT station

What you will do

• Drive suppliers and manufacturing partners to achieve product and process quality in line with company requirements and industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams in containing supplier quality issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Review material holds and manufacturing deviations, assess risks, and support timely product disposition through Material Review Boards.
• Conduct supplier gap analyses, audits, benchmarking, and lessons-learned activities to verify quality systems and process controls.
• Coordinate defect reduction, cost reduction, change management, product qualifications, and ongoing reliability monitoring.
• Lead supplier quality KPI delivery and support maintenance of quality management system certifications and corporate social responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline and 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of semiconductor technology, manufacturing processes, process control, and Six Sigma tools.
• Experience with fault tree analysis, 3x5 Why, FMEA, failure analysis, and semiconductor product reliability concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, JEDEC, RoHS, and REACH.
• Ability to influence external partners and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
