Director, Implementation Project Management

What you will do

• Build the implementation PMO, including tiered playbooks, stage gates, templates, risk and change controls, escalation paths, and closure standards.
• Run the implementation portfolio across active customer launches, managing sequencing, dependencies, committed dates, status, and project-manager assignments.
• Identify capacity and schedule conflicts and recommend staffing, sequencing, and trade-offs to leadership.
• Select and launch a project-management platform, migrate in-flight work, and drive adoption through effective workflows.
• Lead major strategic implementations, owning integrated plans, critical paths, scope, governance, and executive customer communications.
• Hire and develop four Technical Project Managers and coordinate readiness across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, and customers through UAT, sign-off, and handoff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in program or project management, implementation, or delivery in B2B software or services, including 3+ years managing project managers.
• Experience designing and launching a PMO or delivery framework for implementations with technical dependencies.
• Experience with portfolio-level resource assignment, capacity planning, sequencing trade-offs, and project-management tool implementation.
• Technical project-management fluency across integrations and APIs, SSO and identity, environments, data flows, UAT, and QA coordination.
• Executive-level client communication, steering committees, hiring, development, and performance management of project managers.

Nice to have

• Healthcare, digital health, virtual care, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with clinical, pharmacy, lab, credentialing, licensing, or multi-state operational dependencies.
• Professional-services or client-delivery experience with separate project-management and technical-implementation functions.
• Experience with tiered delivery models.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent training.
